Just in case I forget to tell you tomorrow at work when I see you.
I totally got an A. They posted the grades up today on the pierce website. I've been checking every chance I got and it was so nerve wracking, but now that I know my grade, and my grade is an A, I can sleep in peace, but at the same time, roll around restlessly because of my JOY.
Good Night!

Movies I would like to see #2 & #1!
#2. Garth Marenghi's Darkmovie
Directed by Garth Marenghi
Gotta love the opening to the show. Can you imagine what they could do with a movie budget??
#1. The Venture Brothers Movie
Directed by Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer
I think this would be awesome if they did an open casting call for it like Aqua Teen did for their live action Carl (which was brilliant!).
A live action movie for the Venture Brothers... I know in the Season 1 special features they have an interview with the live action cast of the Venture Brothers, and it's funny, but not real of course. The costumes for 21 and 24 are excellent. Kellie, I wanna see if we can cast this thing with existing actors.

Movies I would like to see #4 and #3
#4. PSH: The Philip Seymour Hoffman Story
Directed by Philip Seymour Hoffman
Because he's the greatest actor alive.
#3.5 The Transforminators
lol, I like the part about the sand.
# 3. Earthboy Jacobus Directed by TenNapel
I guess I just wanna see a lot of TenNapels work on film. Earthboy Jacobus is in my top 5 graphic novels. It does have its flaws, but overall, it's a good read and his art style is just cool. Anything with spacewhales = awesome-pants.

Movies I would like to see #6 and #5
Dear Blogspot,
I'm sorry for being such a bad blogger. I hope you'll find it in your heart to forgive me.
=] I wanna make a LIST!
SO... I like to go on Rotten Tomato from time to time, and sometimes they have these lists... (Kellie also has her 5 on Friday lists that I enjoy reading, and we used to do that 5 list notebook thing which was fun while it lasted)
And today, I read a list of video game movies that the rotten tomato staff would like to see made, and the directors they would choose. I have to admit that I thought that their list was lame.
I'm not a gamer though.
I DO like the idea of making a list of movies I would like to see made and who I would want to direct said movie. I think I can think of about 6 I would really like to see. Starting from #6...
# 6. Mercenaries.
Directed by Michael Bay, John Woo, or anyone who can direct over the top explosions/action porn.
I've never played the game. I'm basing this choice on the trailer for the sequel to the first game. Also, Kellie... you know who did the covers for the comic book. T_T
I loved the song in this ad, which you can hear in Kellie's blog here.
From what I understand, this game was a huge disappointment compared to the first. But this ad is great! I love that he goes from being unarmed, to eventually stealing a helicopter to blow up an offshore oil drilling platform... and it all started because someone didn't give him his money.
Not that there aren't enough of these types of movies, it's just that I wanna see more of this ad, without playing a stupid game, and with real actors.
# 5. Earthworm Jim.
Directed by Douglas TenNapel or Rob Schrab
I pulled this one right out of the rotten tomato list. They chose Tim Burton to direct. I have nothing against Tim Burton as a man... for I have never met him. It's the majority of his super-fans that I can't stand. I thought Edward Scissorhands was okay. I will never watch it again in my lifetime unless you Clockwork Orange it on me.
I looked it up on imdb, and GASP! It's actually on there for 2010!!! And it's NOT directed by Tim Burton because there is a God. Douglas TenNapel is apparently directing it.
All I hope is that it be animated, grimey, and ridiculous. The only other person I can see directing such a thing is Rob Schrab (who co-wrote Monster House). His mini-movie ROBOT BASTARD is awesome low budget fun (you should watch it by clicking the link!), and I really think he could direct Earthworm Jim just based on watching ROBOT BASTARD.
Not blogging for so long has made this kinda tough... lol, I feel like I can't even make a proper list... because I can't. I'm tired and I wanna go to bed--leave me alone.
I'll post #4 and #3 tomorrow, and I promise... nothing. I might even post 4 and 3 in 2010 when they're done making Earthworm Jim.
Ugh, I'm glad that they're making Earthworm Jim, but I'm disappointed at the same time, because it makes my #5 choice in this list not as blog worthy. whatevs. I'll give you a hangman for my #4 choice.
It'll have _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ as the main character(s).
I know Kellie already knows this movie.... or does she?

It's been a while... time to make a really long post.
It's been much too long since I've gone on here. I always feel inspired to blog after reading a particularly good post made by someone, but I haven't been reading any blogs lately. Today I got my wireless to work in my house thanks to my friend PETER HWANG! And I started catching up on Kellie's blog via my PSP.
Alas... I fear that catching up on all of my un-blogged about happenings will be overwhelming.
And I don't want you to be overwhelmed...
So maybe I'll just do some bulletpoints. I think that'll keep you ...whelmed at a good level.

- VEGAS 2009: David Brown's 21st Birthday Here are 4 pictures! The rest, I'll post on facebook probably... (So much to post... 0_o)

- I made a twitter. I enjoy reading Jim Lee's tweets.
- Went to the premiere of Observe and Report... shook Seth Rogen's hand. took a picture of a speed limit sign.

I wonder how long it took to scratch that out.
- Dear Kellie,
I have a blog post saved on here about my future you know what. =] One day I will post it and let you know so you can read it... even though you were one of the first people I told. (THE first if my memory serves me correctly.)
Sincerely,
ROBERT!!!
Sincerely,
ROBERT!!!
- I missed the Sabuda and Reinhardt event!!! (T_T)
- Missed the Martha Stewart event!!!! (ehh...)
- Missed the Marie Osmond event! (...we do too many random events)
- Missed the Len Wein signing at Galaxy of Comics!! (but he shops there every Wednesday... and Warren got things signed for me... so-- *shrug*)
- Went to SD and saw Death Cab For Cutie for the second time. Great live show... drummer screwed up twice. Ben Gibbard also got a lot skinnier and he grew out his hair.

Camping + My Not So Wildest Dreams
I went camping for the first time! Went up to a place called Carrizo Plains which is about 2 hours North, going towards Fresno. Made a (possibly illegal) fire pit because all the fire pits were taken. On the first night, we cooked some steak on the propane grill, toasted Marshmallows (yorm!) on our (maybe) illegal fire, and tried to tell scary stories and decided to talk about poo and farts instead.
I will post the pictures when I get them from Mountain Man John.
Overall, it was so much fun!!!! And I can't wait to go again. Best part... was the next day when we went hiking to the San Andreas fault, visited these weird salt lakes, and climbed rocks that looked like penises.
On the rock climbing, we didn't use any ropes or professional equipment, we just climbed... and I have to say that I felt like an old man compared to these kids I went with. I was there with Mountain Man John and four 13-14 year old kids who all call me 'Robert Teacher'. (I call him Mountain Man John because of the first thing he ever said to me. At his daughter's birthday, he comes up to me, and does not say hi, or hello--nice to meet you--what's your name? ... he says to me "...Wanna see some Bear meat?" and proceeds to show me a freezer full of bear meat.)
These kids were just running up these rocks, finding footing somehow on these completely vertical climbing surfaces... And this is where I had my most cowardly moment. As I saw these kids running up these rocks like the little Asian ninjas that they were, I had to prove to them that 'Robert teacher'... is a Robert MAN. We climbed up a few dirt covered hills, but the real challenge was to get to the very TOP. It was like getting to Pride Rock from the Lion King... if Pride Rock was almost vertical and looked kinda like a penis. This did not go very well. I proceeded to climb slowly and carefully, and as I was doing this, I could hear the kids encouraging me to keep going.
John was giving me very sage like kung fu movie advice: "do not picture the steps you have to take to get to the top... picture being on the top, and you will get there".
So as I lifted my right foot, and jumped up, I immediately knew that I was not gonna make it. Miraculously, I hung on for a good 20 seconds. Both feet were now up on the side of this thing, and although, I had zero confidence at first, I now had... maybe 3.5 confidence?
20 seconds later I could feel the tiny pebbles, that were giving the soles of my feet the grip needed to hang on, slowly start to roll down. Go into any parking lot that isn't newly paved, and slowly scrape your shoes. That's the sound I was making, followed by what can only be described as the frightened squeal from a 5 year old girl. To make matters worse, my whole body was clinging onto the side of this rock, and my shirt was riding up my stomach as I was falling. And on top of that I only fell (slowly and undramatically) for about 5 seconds. But to be fair! Count out 5 seconds right now! . . . . . It's totally long.
sigh... who am I kidding, I wasn't even falling. I was dragging down the side of this thing. Of course as I looked to my left, John was smiling and holding a camera. So this ordeal was captured in 12 megapixels of SHAME. I eventually made it to the top, and sat down on the buttcrack. (There was this indentation on the top of this rock, of a person's butt. My theory is that, many years ago, some Native American just sat at the top of this thing, on the same spot, every day of his adult life. And eventually immortalized himself---er at least his butt) . So again, I will post the pictures when John emails them to me... they're quite funny.
Now that I've told you all the highlights of my awesome camping/embarrassing rock climbing trip , I want to end with some of my dreams, and goals in life.
I have this one very attainable dream of dressing up as Bert (from Sesame Street) on Halloween, but I have yet to find an Ernie... You see, I need an Ernie because if I dress up as Bert and only Bert, then I'm just an Asian with a unibrow wearing a striped v-neck sweater over a white turtleneck.
Another dream I have is getting my Fail Blog submission posted...
If you see it posted on Fail Blog, lemme know! I totally scanned my comic book and sent it in.
lol, what an adult situation... 0_0
